ABOUT

Mads Friis

I am a happy camper who tries to live life to the fullest. I have always been interested in personal growth and high performance. From playing different sports at a high-level from a younger age to discovering books by the Dalai Lama to Anthony Robbins. The journey led to me completing a Bachelor in Business and Psychology at Copenhagen Business School and a Master with a semester studying Psychology at Harvard University.

In my extensive research, I have found that many of the resources focus 80% on the problems we are facing and only 20% on the solutions. I want to flip this statistic around. The constant curiosity to learn more and desire to contribute to a more positive and fun way of learning about these subjects is what drives most of my work.

I am passionate about building health, performance, and wellbeing related ventures and projects. Also, working closely with individuals to explore what helps them feel and perform extraordinary, live meaningful lives, and be happy.

  • A few years ago I started Growth Island, a podcast on health and human wellbeing. To this day, I interviewed +70 experts from around the World  - doctors, scientists, psychologists and entrepreneurs.
  • I have gone through a rollercoaster of scaling and closing a company myself
  • After that, I co-built 3 impact-driven ventures with KRING where one of them reached a solid turnover in a few months and the second one, an AI-driven mental health app, collected 2.000 users after its launch.
  • During the last years, I worked with +150 startups from all the continents to guide them through the business model validation and preparation for scale.

I’m excited to be on this journey with you, learning about our individual happiness, health, meaning, and the tactical tips and tricks for improving it. Please feel free to reach out if there are any specific topics/experts you’d like for me to interview.
